🤖 🔥 AI Tinkerers Columbus: Release v0.4.0 — April 6th at Improving! 🔥 🤖

Last month we packed the room so hard we had to spill into the overflow rooms, with over 60 practitioners attending. The Columbus AI builder scene is real, and the energy was unmistakable. We’ve taken your feedback from the March session to tune this next event for even better technical collisions.

What’s new for the April Release:

  • Tighter Demo Block: Still no slides, no pitch desks, demo or ☠️
  • More Networking: Longer conversation windows to meet the people behind the builds.

What is AI Tinkerers?

We are keeping the same practitioner-only bar. This is the place for people who are actually building, shipping and sharing, whether it’s agentic coding workflows, context engineering, or local model experimentation. If you’ve been hacking on something weird and technical, we want to see and hear about the messy works in progress.

We ran out of chairs before we ran out of builders last time. Don’t miss the April session.

🎙️ DEMO SIGNUPS 🎙️

Demo Submission
We are looking for a small number of high-signal demos. We want to see your weird AI ideas. Showing up with half-finished experiments is the point. This is the Homebrew Computer Club of AI. A demo is about five minutes in length and focuses on how you built it.

Pitch decks are forbidden. We want to see code, terminals, and raw WIPs. Whether it’s an a new approach to guardrails that finally made your outputs clean or a fleet of agents you’re currently supervising, bring the technical details.

🤖 Connect, Collaborate, and Create 🤖

This meetup is your chance to:

  • Showcase your latest AI projects: Share your work with a room of peers who understand the stack.
  • Network with fellow tinkerers: Meet the engineers, researchers, and founders building the future in Columbus.
  • Trade Notes: Move past the hype and discuss evals, context windows, and real-world agent behavior.

RSVP Today!

Space is limited and we expect to hit capacity again. RSVP now to secure your spot in the room.

Help us grow: If you found value in the last event, invite one other active builder. The best technical communities are built by word of mouth from the people in the room.

The goal here is to connect like-minded folks in the Columbus area who are actively building a more interesting future with LLMs. We can’t let the folks in Silicon Valley have all of the fun!
